As I watch the funeral proceedings I am reminded of how fragile life is. My thoughts and prayers goes out to our dear Prime Minister and his family.

Yet another disaster

It's been quite a year, hasn't it? We've had the tsunami, floods and now the devastating earthquake in South Asia. Aid is pouring in from all over the world(monetary and otherwise) for the victims. It's a pity though, it seems only a disaster of this magnitude can bridge the political divide and unite us to a common goal. But it's a step in the right direction, even if it only lasts for a while. Mankind still has hope.

My heartfelt condolences for those who have lost loved ones in this latest tragedy. May God lessen your burden in this time of hardship.

What has this got to do with Baby Ali you may ask? Well, if this could happen to them then it could easily happen to any of us too. So count your blessings for I am sure counting mine.

This is an old traditional baby song sung usually by mothers(and fathers too sometimes ;)), passed on from generation to generation. Its lyrics asks the baby not to cry, for mum has work to do. Baby Ali likes to clap on this one :D
